Mit Google Dataset Search stellt Google eine Suchmaschine für Forschungsdaten zur Verfügung. Bei der Indexierung soll vor allem schema.org zum Einsatz kommen. Anbietern von Forschungsdaten stellt Google ein Tool zur Verfügung, mit dem die eigenen Metadaten getestet werden können.
